Bars, Shadows

The world around us takes form by the interplay of light and darkness. When a bright light shines upon an object, it casts a dark shape. This occurrence is known as light projection, and it's responsible for the dramatic interplay we see between forms in space. Bars, owing to their structure, often create elongated shadows that can be quite intriguing.

The position of the illuminating ray has a noticeable impact on the shape and size of the shadows cast. As the day progresses, bars will create a dynamic interplay of light and dark.

Stone Walls, Concrete Dreams

Beyond the Razor Wire

The world beyond/past/outside the razor wire is a strange/unfamiliar/alien place. Many long/intensely/years of confinement can make it hard/difficult/challenging to adjust/adapt/acclimate to the prison shifting/dynamic/ever-changing tides of ordinary/everyday/normal life. Simple/Mundane/Everyday tasks like crossing/walking/traveling a street or interacting/communicating/talking to a stranger can feel overwhelming/daunting/intimidating. Still/However/Yet, there are ways/methods/strategies to rebuild/reintegrate/reconstruct your life and find/discover/locate peace/tranquility/contentment in the world beyond/past/outside the wire.

Resounds in the Cell Block

The steel walls contained the murmurs of a hundred lives passed. Each clink of a chain, every uneven footstep on the concrete floor, spoke a story. Stories of guilt, of anger, all overlapping in a symphony of sadness. Even in the silence, one could feel the presence of their stories.

The Price We Pay
